Greetings and salutations to all weePUBLICANS...hope everyone is merry! Wee've got lots o' big news to share with you all!
Firstly, wee'd like to thank everyone for our best St. Patty's Day ever! The turnout all week at the pub was tremendous & St. Patty's Day 2010 promises to be even bigger, better and greener!
But til then, wee've got some outstanding events lined up for the rest of the year:
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (Fri. May 22nd) THE WEE PUB MAKES IT'S LONG-AWAUTED RETURN TO DOWNTOWN BRUNSWICK!!!!!!!!!!!! Classic Star Productions has graciously invited the wee PUB to sell beer at the Ritz Theatre for an evening performance by ZOSO. Rolling Stone magazine called Zoso, "The Ulimate Led Zeppelin Experience!" The opening act for the evening will feature Brunswick's favorite party band, DENNIS & THE MENACE.. Tickets for the show are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the show. This event is sure to sell out, so get your tickets soon...THEY'RE ON SALE NOW AT THE PUB!!
Niki Lixx, and her new band, LOOSE CANNONS, have signed up to perform at the pub for our annual 4th of July blowout AND our 6th annual "1/2 WAY-TO-ST.PATTY'S DAY" party in Sept. Around this time, we'll also be hosting the 3rd annual MURRAY CUP golf tournament...the proceeds of which will once again go towards a scholarship, to aid an outstanding local student, in Murray's name to Murray's alma mater, The Citadel. So, be sure to get your clubs out and bring your 'A' game!
"LIXX'S" former front-lady, Joey Kitt, will be performing live at the pub on Thurs., May 21st and again, on Fri., May 29th. Please remember that here at the wee PUB, "wee don't sell the steak, wee sell the sizzle!"
Last but not least, wee'd like to welcome Dan Black back to the mix (literally) at the pub. Wee're proud to announce that 'Beautiful Dan,' will be the new General Manager at the pub, but don't worry ladies, Dan will still be mixing cocktails from time to time behind the bar for your viewing pleasure. Dan is the hottest bartender (according to Dan himself) on the east coast!
In addition to all the special activities wee have planned, please do not forget that every Tues. night is S.I.N. (SERVICE INDUSTRY NIGHT)...enjoy 2for1 for all those IN THE BIZ. Every Wednesday Night is 'MARTINI & JAZZ NIGHT,' with Mike Hulett, the 'Sax Guy.' And every Thursday Night is 'Ladies Night.' Ladies enjoy 2for1 on all drinks, all nite!
All you football fans will be glad to know that wee recently signed up with Direct TV to receive EVERY PRO FOOTBALL GAME THIS FALL!! So be sure to keep your SUNDAYS open. Right now, EVERY SUNDAY AND MONDAY NIGHTS AT THE wee PUB equals $.25 wings.
